Farmington Hills, MI (June 5, 2002) - Integral Vision, Inc. (OTCBB/INVI.OB) today announced that it has received orders for two (2) "SharpEye" inspection systems totaling over $380,000 from an unnamed customer. The systems will be used for the inspection of Liquid Crystal on Silicon (LCoS) displays. Integral Vision's "SharpEye" product provides analysis of functional and cosmetic defects in the display to assure quality in the manufacturing process as well as verification of the final product. The SharpEye systems will be used to develop inspection parameters for display production quality control and will later be moved into online production. "SharpEye" rule-based inspection parameter tuning capability makes it an ideal tool for pre-production and as well as final quality control. "We are very pleased to receive these orders for our "SharpEye" system to inspect the LCoS technology. Most recently orders have been for OLED inspection but our algorithms and optics also work exceptionally well with the reflective LCoS technology." said Charles J. Drake, Chairman and CEO of Integral Vision, Inc. LCoS displays are manufactured on crystalline silicon substrates that can sustain very high temperatures. These displays are predominately used for projection applications. Integral Vision, Inc., an ISO 9001 registered firm, offers machine vision-based inspection systems to the industrial manufacturer. Integral Vision is a leading supplier of machine vision systems used to monitor or control the manufacturing process. Vision systems are used to supplement human inspection or provide quality assurance when production rates exceed human capability. More information can be found at Website: www.iv-usa.com.
