San Jose, CA (February 2, 2000) Integral Vision has recently developed a state-of-the-art display evaluation system for the OLED technology provider and display device manufacturer.

The OLED display evaluation system allows the user to execute a detailed sub-pixel evaluation of defects. The system has the capability to detect functional problems such as short/opens, row and column missing, defective pixels and sub-pixel defects.

The OLED evaluation system software controls the OLED display via the display driver electronic interface and transmits test patterns to the display for evaluation. The test patterns are used to evaluate the performance parameters of the OLED display. Since the OLED is an emissive display, additive light sources are not required to obtain display information.

The system is an effective display evaluation tool for luminance, pixel size and variance, and pixel crosstalk.

The Integral Vision OLED display system has a user friendly operation interface for performing the display evaluation. The system can be configured to be used in the manufacturing process as a production inspection station. Display inspection results are saved on disk and made available as comma separated data for later study via importing into customer preferred analysis software such as Microsoft Excel.
