Farmington Hills, MI (July 2, 1999) - Integral Vision, Inc. (Nasdaq/NMS-INVI) announced today that it has signed an alliance and distribution agreement with Omron Electronics, Inc. The agreement calls for Integral Vision to provide its IVC (Industrial Vision Controller) together with purchased frame grabbers and cameras to Omron for incorporation in their new PC-based vision system to be sold worldwide as V-2000. In situations where Omron identifies machine vision applications that require systems and application expertise beyond the normal capabilities of V-2000, the opportunities will be offered for consideration by Integral Vision.

"Omron is experienced in selling machine vision products in the United States, Europe and Asia and will provide us with a large and powerful sales organization," said Charles J. Drake, Chairman and CEO. "In a very short period, they have already presented us with excellent opportunities with several large organizations that are existing Omron customers for as many as a total of 1,000 applications systems. We are convinced that this relationship will provide a significant source of revenue."

Integral Vision, Inc., an ISO 9001 registered firm, which is a leading supplier of machine vision systems used to monitor or control the manufacturing process. Vision systems are used to supplement human inspection or provide quality assurance when production rates exceed human capability.
