San Jose, CA (February 2, 2000) Integral Vision has enhanced its microdisplay inspection station to accommodate a more automated inspection process with multiple display devices per carrier. SharpEye is configured for operating an offline pre-load carrier with multiple displays based on customized requests. The system can inspect a display for full functional and cosmetic defects with immediate results in less than 50 seconds per device.

SharpEye can classify and quantify pixel level defects, defective pixel clusters, display uniformity, contrast, and cosmetic defects such as particles and scratches.

SharpEye is an integrated system for the small display manufacturer. It provides automatic inspection with immediate results as well as database support for detailed defect analysis of data. SharpEye is a useful tool for better yield management for the small display manufacturer.

SharpEye can be configured to accommodate small displays of LCoS, OLED, MEM, and LCD technologies in the following display resolutions: QVGA, VGA, SVGA, SXGA, SXGA+, UXGA, and HDTV.
